Hope you’re here for a
good time,
because we are.
Our founding tenet is of celebrating the ordinary - the excitement of sharing a meal with strangers, of drinking enough sparkling wine to start singing along with the playlist, of eating food that at once feels nourishing, familiar and yet completely brand new.
We welcome you here to shed excess that becomes too weighty and the grind that feels monotonous, to reveal what has always mattered most - nourishing food of course, but also we try satisfying a very real craving for connection. Shaking up what it means to have dinner means paying attention to what can happen in a room full of strangers, all trusting the evening: magic.
We are here to throw you a party, take advantage.
How it works…
Thursday and Friday are simple and easy, with an a la carte menu born of things we find fun and accessible: delicious dips with pita, a lamb burger, roasted carrots with honey almond dressing, barberry chicken wings - things like that. We serve from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, and welcome both reservations & walk-ins. The menu will be posted here on Wednesday of the same week, after a farmer’s market haul. Come on over for a beer or two, and let us feed you on a weeknight.
Saturday we offer one seating and serve a three course, family-style meal, reflecting the seasons and supporting our farming neighbors. This format fosters a sense of togetherness, at a time when we need it most - everyone will have their own table, but we hope that the company of strangers is enjoyed and conversation breaks the invisible boundary of each individual party. It’s this excitement of sparking something special, that keeps us cooking this way. We will post the week's menu below every Tuesday but hope you might relinquish control, trusting that each menu is created thoughtfully, taking the work out of decision making while offering up food we love to prepare. We are accommodating to food allergies and aversions, so long as they are passed along at the point of reservation. Dinner is $75 a guest and will be purchased in advance, with beer & wine served a la carte. Doors open at 6 pm and dinner begins promptly at 7 pm, so we ask that you please arrive by 6:45 pm to assure everyone is able to enjoy the entire experience.
On Saturday evenings, parties of 13+ require a restaurant buy out and should not book through Resy, instead contact us directly at hi@brushlandeatinghouse.com.
We look forward to raising a glass with you.
Let’s pencil it in.
Ready to grab a seat at the table? Please let us know of any allergies and aversions when booking so we can cater the menu to your needs.
**Please note that menus listed here may change day-of due to farm & market availability —
should you have a dietary restriction, kindly shoot us an email to confirm the night’s offerings.
